- Pictured on disc is the insignia/seal of the United States Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) which shows an eagle in the center with a shield in the shape of an American flag as part of its body. In the eagle's talons is an anchor around which a rope is tied.
- Disc is made of brass metal and features etched and enameled detailing.
