• Black velour presentation box with hinges and white inside lining.
• Inside platform of box where medal rests, is not recessed, but flat.
• Dimensions are 3-1/8 (width) x 4-1/4 (height) x 1-9/16 (length) inches.
• Can hold neck ribbon (tucked under the inside of the velvet platform).
• Holds up to a 2-7/8 inch (diameter) medal with a max of 5.5 mm or 3/16 inch thickness.

I needed 2 boxes for 3" medals. Medals were for 50th Wedding Anniversary. I was very surprised to see how nice these boxes were when I received them! Worked perfect for my large 3" medals. Made a very nice presentation of my gift and was inexpensive at the same time.

I have won some figure skating medals recently and didn't have a good place to put them. These are just what I needed to hold these 3" medals. Hopefully I will need more in the future! Well constructed and not too expensive. I would like some the same size in blue velour.
